The Patriots Academy will be conducting U14 Girls Tryouts for the Fall/Spring 2018/2019

Age: Players born in 2005, 2006 born players will be considered

The Patriots Academy is the ONLY program in Northern Nevada with a fully written curriculum developed by coach John to follow the system of play set by US Soccer. Our curriculum follows the Dutch technical methodology and the scientific player development advances mastered by professor Vergine, head of the Fiorentina Academy, producers of top players for Serie A in Italy and throughout Europe.

OBJECTIVE:

Our primary objective is to fill our current 05 girls team to a full 18 player roster.

This 05 group is currently formed by a 50/50 mix of players born in 2005 and players born in 2006, and the team currently plays up one age division (two for the 06’ players) in the local GBYSL league in order to play vs. stronger competition. Additionally, the team typically attends Gold level tournaments in both fall and spring.

DATE AND TIME:

Sunday  6/24, 5:30 to 7 pm. South Valleys Lower Field. “Close to the dirt parking lot”
Tuesday 6/26, 5:30 to 7 pm. South Valleys Lower Field. “Close to the dirt parking lot”

Players only need to attend one tryout session but may attend both as it gives us a chance to look closely at the level of the players. Bring ball, water, shin guards, and proper soccer attire.

Players MUST register online to participate in the tryouts at the “Tryout Registration” link above

For questions, contact Coach John at 775 690 0949 or john@nvpatriots.com

Great Basin Youth Soccer League (GBYSL), and the PATRIOTS ACADEMY, strongly encourage ALL young athletes attending competitive soccer tryouts, to actively participate in different club or team tryouts. So that they may fully understand the training program or benefits that each team or club may offer to them. Participating in any soccer clubs or independent team tryouts does not register you to play, nor binds you to that particular club or team. MISSION

The Patriots Academy is organized to provide select players an environment where they can concentrate on soccer development, personal growth, and learning to win and succeed through the process. We aim to provide an environment where children learn and become motivated to participate, improving their opportunities to succeed on the field and off the field.

Through our continued work, we believe the Patriots Academy can reach children and youth in challenging circumstances through soccer; we can do our part to help the United States soccer community catch up with the rest of world; prevent top prospects from falling through the gaps; create cultural awareness, provide community service; and help develop self-esteem and character through organized social interaction.
